The Malawi SACCO Movement is to benefit from a wealth of risk management expertise from Karen Mc Bride thanks to the Canadian Cooperatives Association which has made it possible for Karen to come to MUSCCO. Karen Mc Bride a holder of Masters in Business Administration has a solid risk management and finance background spanning over 35 years. Karen a Canadian citizen who has come to Malawi as volunteer was until 2011 before she retired, working for Concentra Financial as Executive Vice President, Chief Risk Officer and Chief Compliance Officer. While attached to MUSCCO, Karen will work on designing risk management and compliance tools and

Mr. Foster January Khembo is a man gifted with a teaching passion. Since 1982 he has woken up every morning to meet up a group of knowledge seeking students and contribute towards their educational prowess. He takes pride in witnessing the economic transformation in some of his former students who took learning seriously and are now reaping good fortunes.

“Some of my former students are Chief Executives, accountants, administrators, teachers and even doctors”, he emphasise. “I always feel enchanted seeing them drive good cars and living a comfortable life”.
